Hello all, Like many people, I receive hundreds of e-mail daily with a good percentage of spam. Up to now I have been using a combination of TB filters plus, at server level with Mercury/32, RBLs, my own Killfile and local BL, Compliance Control (checking for messages without subject or date headers, etc.) plus Content Control (content testing rules giving a weight). But even with all of these I still got a number of false positives and undetected spam.
A couple of weeks ago someone mentioned POPFile in this list and I decided to give it try. I installed it, trained it for a couple of days and it has been running for some 10 days with 99% accuracy, detecting spam (in different languages, BTW) that had gone undetected by the sum of the other schemes and with hardly any false positives. It's a beauty. http://popfile.sourceforge.net/ -- Best regards, Miguel A.
