OK... Here's what I've done so far: Defragged the disk. Re-installed Win2k SP2 and security updates. Re-installed ZoneAlarm (firewall). Re-installed Trend Micro (virus scanner). Re-installed The Bat. Removed ALL the files and am using just the Inbox.
Mail still downloads at normal speed for my line, but there is a noticeable delay at "Importing Mail". There are no filters, and I removed all the files I could, forcing a "new" install. I cannot remove TheBat, getting an error that my wife tells me is in Romanian. (She should know, her family came from there. <g>) This means, if I want to try a really clean install, I need to format again. Not fun. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
