Hmmm. If not, then how do you feel about browsing the internet? It's
the same html interpreter you're using. The same vulnerabilities
you're concerned about when opening the html attachment from your TB!
prevail when browsing web pages on the internet. The security settings
you enforce for your browser will work when opening HTML from e-mails.
Finally, if the plug-in detects a virus when opening a file, the AVG
system scanner will detect the virus as well and prevent the file
being opened. So if there's a conflict which is resolved by disabling
the checking of attachments when opening them, I see nothing more to
worry about. Your machine is no more secure with both enabled as
opposed to one.

The checking of attachments when opening and saving them to file are
really for those who don't run a system real-time scanner at the same
time.

So, are you saying your problem is now solved?

How did this help. Did the errors disappear?

Having the NOD32 plugin installed, and NOD32 not installed on your
system could likely lead to errors. I can just imagine the plugin
trying to check an attachment and fails to find NOD32 on the system.
It therefore pops up a message that it's unable to check the
attachment and proceeds to prevent the opening of the unchecked
attachment. IMO, that's the right and safe thing to do.
