I know with McAfee I can tell it to exclude all the subfolders as
well.  But, I can also exclude files with a certain extension.  I'm
sure that there's a way to configure your virus scanner like that.
There must be something in the help.

When I try to find the problem on a system, I go by process of
elimination.  And, by you not installing ZA and still getting the
problem, then you know ZA is not the source of your problem(but for
some on this list it was).  Then you have to move on to the next
step.  If it's possible, disable the virus scanner to see if the
problem still persists.  If the problem still exists, then there's a
good chance that it's a configuration in Windows.

Hope you find out what is slowing down TB.
