Thanks Peter, Yes that's what I did as I was reproducing the steps that the inquirer in the forum took so I could try and see what happened. I read the help file but it doesn't say about not using the same file name so he (and I) didn't realise this would be the outcome. Normally I would save to a new file anyhow, but as he hadn't I was doing it the same way to find out how it worked.
