    Yes you can.

    If you're going to use an expression like that, you need to enclose it
    in brackets.

    (string1|string2|string3) etc.

    However, disabling regular expressions and entering the strings as below
    would yield the same effect:

    string1
    string2
    string3

    You could create a text file and use the 'load signal strings from the
    file' option.
