Everyone, I guess Rick likes Nod32 (Eset)! And I'm sure it's a good
product. But it's certainly not the only one... And your assessment is
a little misleading (if not false). For example, the tests go back
some five years and were run on many different operating systems. To
be fair, you need to look at the most recent tests. Here you'll find
that 3 other products do as well as Eset and a further 7 may do as
well (there was no entry for one or more tests).

And another thing, these tests are just a snapshot. For instance, the
version of Sophos used in the February 2003 tests was not the latest
version (at that time). From this information, you may conclude that
virus definitions were not up-to-date (even though it passed).

As Virus Bulletin says, "do not over-emphasize detection rates when
making a purchasing decision."

In the end, it's personal choice.
