There is for me, but YMMV :) I hear you! What can I say? I'm satisfied with what I got. 7-Zip is distributed under GNU Lesser General Public License, version 2.1 and it works fine for me. I am using the Update command with WinXP's Task Scheduler. Since it is so fast I do a complete backup of over 501 MB on boot-up with a 22 % compression. I've tested it now several times by completely wiping TB files and registry entries. I did the COMPLETE restore successfully in LESS than 2 MINUTES. Granted Second Copy 2000 probably has a more user friendly interface. I did a quick check on the web site, and it has some nice features. IIRC I would think the network capability is probably a big plus for you. With the command line capability, GUI, & command switches I can pretty much accomplish what I need to do. You are absolutely correct stating YMMV. BTW some day I'm going to have to ship you some beer in Spain. Any special brands/types. Do you like a dark heavy beer, bach beers, or light varieties? Take care! :-) -- Best regards, Greg Strong TB! v1.63 Beta/11 on Windows XP Service Pack 1 ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.62r | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
