If I have an unstable connection, and certain mails were downloaded successfully, why do I have to download them again if I don't want to keep them on the server? I understand that they will be deleted only if the session terminates with a QUIT command, but why do I need to leave them on the server in order to not re-download them again when the connection is instable? I mean, if someone is in the jungle in Africa and downloads mail with an instable and slow and expensive mobile phone connection, and he has a small mailbox (I'm not making this up, this is a real case), why does he have to re-download all those already received messages again? I suggested to the user to leave the messages on the server for one day so he doesn't receive all those dupes, but I don't understand your logic. I suggest the UIDs also be kept if "Delete from server" is chosen. -- Cheers, Thomas. Moderator der deutschen The Bat! Beginner Liste. "Ist der Chef da?" - "Dumme Frage!
