Hello list, As will be apparent from this message, I'm still using the 'Christmas edition', as that's the last one about which I received an individual notification.
Seeing the editions used by other people on this list, I'm wondering whether or not it's time for me to do an update. But: I'm a computer novice, so: 1. I don't want to risk using a beta (let alone an alpha) version; and 2. I would need step-by-step instructions about what to do. On the whole, the version I've got works well, though it does sometimes need to be closed down when it decides to hog all my resources. I think other people have reported that problem too. Is there a later build which cures it? The other niggle is the way I sometimes suddenly get the "Invalid HTML! Please forward this message to developers." screen. Moving around often cures that, but I sometimes need to close The Bat! and reopen it to cure the apparent fault. Again, is that cured in a later stable release? Advice gratefully received - and perhaps even taken if it's simple enough and I've got the courage :-) Many thanks in advance, Using The Bat! v1.62 Christmas Edition on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 4 -- Best regards, myob mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.62r | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
