The last non-beta version is 1.62r, which I'm using it, too (I'm not too keen on trying beta versions just for the sake of having a newer version). 1. download it from the Ritlabs website 2. create a backup of your existing installation (menu tools -> backup, should be pretty easy) ** then quit the program, of course! 3. execute the downloaded 1.62r installer and install it over your existing installation 4. restart the program. I've done this from 1.62i on a couple of times and never had any problems.
