Hi Robyn, @09-Oct-2003, 08:06 +1000 (08-Oct 23:06 UK time) Robyn Winter [RW] in mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] said to John:
JM>> I am wanting to have the messages already addressed when I JM>> click on "new message" while I am in a certain folder. For JM>> instance, In my TBUDL folder, if I click "new message" can JM>> the "To:" area be auto-filled with [EMAIL PROTECTED] RW> I use the following in the folder template RW> %TO="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" Nooooooo!!!!!!!! Don't do it!!! Bad advice!!!!! Robin - change that template. It will end in tears and is a *bad* idea. If you really *must* (and you shouldn't unless there's absolutely no alternative - and there usually *is* a perfectly good alternative) use a folder template to set a to address, use this: %IF:'%TOADDR'='':"%TO="[EMAIL PROTECTED]"' This will only set the To address when there is no previous value. This may protect you from accidentally copying private, off-list messages back the to list. -- Cheers -- .\\arck D Pearlstone -- List moderator TB! v2.00.22 on Windows XP 5.1.2600 Service Pack 1
