Since Marck's folder template lectures, I have switched to Address Book templates. But back when I was "doing it wrong" I did notice what you describe. Folder templates that set the To: field for new messages would keep the focus on To: regardless of %Cursor setting. I suspect this is for protection from what Marck points out in his lecture - you are forced to at least look at the To: field before continuing, giving you a chance to avoid sending private mail publicly. Truth be told, Marck's arguments are pretty good for not using folder templates. I'm impressed that he actually posted folder template advice in this thread! It's not often a moderator who so strongly believes in something will post advice on how to implement functionality antithetical to his argument. A sign of a healthy ego, IMO. -- Ken Green Using The Bat! v1.62r on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 4 ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.00.6 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
