And I bet not only that, but also with the message list view turned off, so
that only the single message, and not the folder contents, are visible.

Bo - go to the View menu item and make sure "Message List" is selected. Unless
you do, the rest of Melissa's instructions won't make a lot of sense because
you will be working blind.
