I thought I'd comment on a couple points you made here.

I do appreciate that you're likely aware of how TB! implements similar
feature sets if they do exist but in case others, old and new aren't
aware there are a couple 'hidden' features.

IMO, this is a good point. It's not so obvious that you can right click
the information in the various fields of the header bar in TB! to get a
list of similar choices. A button there does show the user that there's
something to do. Who would think of right clicking text on a bar? :)

TB! has this as well, but it isn't so obvious. It's in the 'specials'
menu but not as evident as it probably should.

Two things to comment on here. One in TB!'s favour and one not so in its
favour.

- Very much in its favour and that which I use a lot for searching is
the alt-click filter. If you hold down the Alt key while clicking on any
item in the message list, TB! will display only those messages that
contain the same item you clicked on. This can be any item in the
message list, i.e., a From name, subject, attachment, flag status,
message flag attribute.

- Not so in its favour is that the useful Advanced Filter tool is so far
from access. The other day, I wanted to use it and it took a few moments
of deliberate searching to find it. Anyway, it's found by going to
View/Display/Advanced Filtering. It has a lot of the options you
mentioned.

There's also the quick search which is activated by simply typing your
search string with the message list in focus. I wish that were available
for View Folder windows.

Your comments were certainly worthwhile and appreciated.

If you deal with high volume mail, TB! is extremely well suited for
this. So much can be automated.
