It's funny. Today you send a message about LDAP and TB and today I
started testing LDAP under Win2K AD for another project I'm working
on concerning whether I can update the directory through TB. Just
WAGging it, I'm guessing that any changes I try to make will be added
to the local addressbook associated with the LDAP directory I'm
connecting to. I'll let you know how it works out though.
While this may not help you, here's what I had to do (I figured all
this out using a packet sniffer to see what the query and response
stuff was.)
- Connecting to a Win2K AD DC LDAP
- I did have to use a search base of: dc=doh,dc=nmdoh,dc=nmsg
- I did have to authenticate with my domain account.
Hope this helps.
