Make sure that you have an address book enabled as the default for adding/delete addresses in that way. So open the address book and right click on the address book you wish to add addresses to. Go in the properties and enable: "Use this book as default for ADD/Delete operations"
Ah. Thanks. I had an idea that it was something like that, but had tried to find a similar option on the addressbook _folder_ level.
