Go to www.fastmail.fm and click the "compare plans" link. The short answer is that you can use POP or IMAP with any account you set up and forward mail into and from your account (POP only with paid accounts). Its web interface is quick and surprisingly sophisticated - I've been pleasantly surprised at how well it works.
