That is a strange statement. TB is written to follow all RFCs that are applicable to what it is doing. One of the authors of RFC822 is a TB user and a member of this mailing list. Of course there are bugs - name me one large software project with zero bugs. If one of the bugs causes an RFC violation, it is usually fixed ASAP.
