What do you expect from a help file? It has to mention the features in the program, but it doesn't have to take you by the hand like one of those [EMAIL PROTECTED]@d MS wizards that take you almost to the place where you'd like to be and then leave you in the dark how to get at your final destination. I can't remember how many questions I've answered with straight quotations from the help. Most questions I didn't do that were things I wouldn't expect in a help file. For myself it didn't do anything. When I subscribed I was using TB for over a year. In real life I only know about four TB-users and none of them are on this list. Well, maybe I shouldn't count my sister among those, because she only uses TB because I said that if she wanted my on-line help I'd better know what screen she had in front of here nose, so she uses the same software as me. ;-) AJ> For that matter, how many longer term users would stick AJ> with it? I like the company and I would miss the puzzles like 'what keeps my filter from functioning' I can't say that the presence or absence of this list would dictate my choice of software. AJ> If people aren't using these wonderful features then they're a waste of AJ> the programmers' time. TB has lots of features that are a waste of programmer's time in my eyes, like smileys, html, etc. IMNSHO it's bloat, however some think that it's the most wonderful thing ever, so YMMV. Don't think that I'm against all added features, even though my particular needs rather exclude the use of IMAP, I don't think that that's a useless feature. -- Groetjes, Roelof Disclaimer: Any opinion stated in this message is not necessarily shared by my budgies or rabbits. ________________________________________________ Current version is 2.11.02 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
