Hello Mary,

On Fri, 3 Sep 2004, Mary mused about "The Bat! v. 3.0" (at least in
part):

MB> Yes, but only from a marketing point of view. RITLabs seems to have
MB> embarked on a new marketing push, to get TB! more widely known.

I have no problem with true, honest marketing. I wish RitLabs would
try that. Recent behavior is "bait-and-switch" which is illegal in
the USA.

Marketing is when you use techniques to entice people to investigate
and try product, then hopefully buy it.

Another point. It has been shown that if 1 person is dissatisfied
with your product or company, they will tell 16 people. If a person
loves and uses your product, they will tell 2 people. Therefore
customer satisfaction is the highest priority in any marketing
campaign.
