I will give it a try, but factual info seems to be lacking. What I
ended up doing was to track down all BayesIt related directories and
delete them. I had at least three directories but you should have at
least C:\Program Files\The Bat!\BayesIt and another in your My Documents and
Settings somewhere under The Bat! Mail directory. Mine is actually in
C:\Program Files\The Bat!\Mail\BayesIt because I am using Window 98. I
then did {Warning, Warning, danger Will Robinson} a tour around my
registry and deleted all references to BayesIt. I do not know if this
was necessary and you know the dangers of playing around in there, so
beware.

I then downloaded bayesit063.rar and Unrarred it using 7-ZIP (do a
search on Google). I unrarred it to C:\Program Files\The Bat!\Bayesit.
You may want to double check, but I believe there are 5 files included
in this particular rar file.

Then use Options/Preferences/Protection/Anti-spam and install Bayesit
by pointing at the bayesit.tbp file. Before you actually start using
it I would then download the latest version which is bayesit067.rar, I
think, and unrar the files to the same directory. You can't go
straight to this because it does not contain all the files needed.

When you start using it by training both spam and non-spam I believe
it creates the other files needed in your Mail directory, wherever
that is.

The one thing that I don't know is what files you may still be missing
because there is no language file included with 063 although it seems
to work without it for now. I have asked for proper files locations
and what files should be included, but have had no luck.

I am currently testing Bayes Filter, an alternative, but have come to
no conclusion which one works better. BTW I still see people having
various crashes with 067 and it is a beta designed to catch bugs so
beware. Having said that it is working fairly well for me at the
moment and is being actively worked on as there have been about 5
betas released in the last week.
