Well... the manuals and documentation *start* with things like: "Get
this [obscure filename] from CPAN and make a build from the tar file
into the kernel. Then go to usr and cmod the backflip overfile with a
underbite of KMD.

And that's the documentation for 'dummies'!

The Bat is getting a bit like that - assumptions that everyone knows
what goes on under the bonnet (hood) and can tell the difference
between a sparkplug and a dipstick!

No neither did I till I re-ran the msi file thingy.

advanced.ini 17/04/2004
bayesit.lng 23/08/2004
bayesit.tbp 31/08/2004
history.txt 31/08/2004
kludges.txt 23/02/2004
pcre.dll 31/08/2004

In one message in this thread someone said that the pcre.dll should be
in the parent directory. Now I assumed this meant the directory up
from 'BayesIt' i.e: the directory called The Bat! (in a default
installtion). However, when I moved it and re-started that was
everything seemed to start going wrong - prompting this thread! So I
have left it where the installation put it.
