I take it you know the literal answer to your question but are wondering
why one would do it.

Further back in this thread there was talk of the 'default' for the mail
folder being in the user's profile directory and that that my problems
stem from having a shared mail folder.  An implication is that I should
re-install using the defaults.  To get this to work on the second
Windows account would, in theory, require a second install.  Otherwise,
we're just back to copying registry sections and the whole thing stops
working again unless tweaked.

Hence my point earlier that TB! is NOT multi-user aware (in a Windows
sense).
