In the office, I have over 100,000 messages in the archive account (similar idea as MAU, but not password protected). Each folder there has under 20,000 messages, some even only a couple of hundred. No slowdown when I work out of the archive account. The main accounts don't have folders, all message sit in the Inbox. the biggest one now has 17,000 and I am thinking of deleting old messages, as they are in the archive anyway. However, I experience no slowdon either. S> I keep upgrading to new version of TB, but still slow. I don't have S> virus in my PC either. Using 3.62.14 in the office. Also, check whether you have a lot of messages named bat*.tmp in the temp directory on your HD. This slows down TB as well. -- Cheers, Thomas.
