AFAIK There's no such option in TB.
Check these points:

1) Is the message with attachment exceeding some size limit. (Remember
   that MIME-encoding a file enlarges it with 30%)
2) Is the error message generated by your contact's ISP
3) Can you send other, more innocent file types (like .jpg)
