Hi Everyone, I have been using TB 4 for IMAP with my Gmail account. So far (since mid-July), I think TB has done well with Gmail's IMAP. I have a question about an IMAP account setting, however.
One of the last Mail Management pane items to be possibly checked is this, "When inactive, disconnect after (X) seconds." Is it better to check that or to not check it when one has an always-on DSL connection? And - does that mean that TB becomes active when I do something like select or open a message? I do know that some IMAP-capable email applications automatically disconnect from the IMAP server after a period of time. Thanks for any help with this. -- Take care, Bob Riley -- "Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me." This is our function, our challenge, our fulfillment - to accept, enjoy and share.
