Fellow list members,

With everyone's help here's what I've found so far:

On her computer running Vista I found a folder called "The Bat!" which
is located in C:\USERS\JUNE\APPDATA\ROAMING (her name is June). This
folder contains all the folders in her account with all the .TBB and
.TBI folders in each sub-folder.

If I move the entire The Bat! folder to the desktop (to protect it)
and then import the same folder from the Carbonite backup into the
C:\USERS\JUNE\APPDATA\ROAMING folder and then launch TB, TB looks just
like a new installation but with her account present. However, there's
nothing IN her account. None of her user-created sub-folders are
there. It makes it look as if TB! had never been used. I even tried
the same procedure with the individual .TBB folders with the same
result ie, new account with nothing in it.

Apparently TB stores other needed parameters elsewhere other than in
the The Bat! folder. Perhaps the registry?

Before anyone thinks of me as a dunderhead, yes, I did set up TB when
I installed it to do automatic backups. However, dunderhead that I am,
I set it up to perform the automatic backups only every seven days.
Doh! I now have set it to perform the autobackup every day. The horse
is gone but the barn door is now locked.

I do not currently see any way out of this dilemma and must consider
her wrath when she I tell her I goofed.
