One other thing ... when I sent an email to a friend - signed and encrypted - just now, it never asked me which key to encrypt to (hers). Does it automatically select the key with the user id email address I've put in the "To" field? It's a while since I've used PGP/GnuPG but I seem to remember always being prompted to select a recipient key.
