I haven't been following the thread on this one, but just from reading the petition, IMHO, it comes off sounding like spoiled children who want lots of free things.
If this is really necessary, time would be better spent developing a business plan to make it successful, or at least somewhat attractive to a business or agency, not just demanding a list of free things.
