Just today twitter went down a couple of times. Nothing new there, but I didn't got any fun while it's down. Nothing to stop me working, to distract, nada!
Back to the subject, Twitter is everyday the new IRC. Why ? Because: - It's there for a while and it's not for short moments; netsplit anyone ? servers down ? - There's channels (global and local); join #portugal, #spain, #etc - People send direct messages; msg nick (private) - We can block people; block nick - There's a lot of clients; mIRC, xchat, etc - Feed2Twitter; channel bots Let me guess what will come next: - Possibility to connect to different twitter servers - TwitOP, TwitADM - P2P chats/send files - Twitter Gateways (oh, there are a couple of them now) Soon we'll be saying: - "hi there, we're you from ?" - "male / female ?" - "want to chat ?" - "kick @nick" //VD _______________________________________________ tce mailing list [email protected] http://lists.paradigma.pt/mailman/listinfo/tce
