Hi all. My name is Melissa Wyatt. I just recently began looking at some of the local politics discussion lists. I'm a landscape architect and researcher working with the Center for Rural Design at the University of Minnesota. My pet interests are rural/urban fringe interplay and urban sprawl, including issues concerning ecological integrity, water quality, loss of resource lands, and declining quality of life. Yes, it's a broad laundry list of issues... I've chosen to devote my work and interests to exploring ways to improve the ways we interact with the landscape, and politics and policy have a huge hand in guiding change. I look forward to hearing your opinions and concerns, and hope that I can be a constructive contributor to this forum.
Thanks. Melissa Uptown Minneapolis U of M Center for Rural Design _______________________________________________ Twin Cities Metropolitan Issues Forum http://www.e-democracy.org/tcmetro Rules: Sign posts with real name. You may not post more than twice a day.
