Forum, I'm Mitch Berg. I've been involved in various E-Democracy lists since 1995.
I'm a single father of two kids. As such, I have a few hot-button issues - Father's rights, family court reform, education and the future of this state (and the metro, of course). I'm also active in public safety issues, including the reform of Minnesota's racist, sexist, paternalistic concealed-carry laws. I'm a software design consultant, I play nine musical instruments (I was one of the godfathers of punk rock in North Dakota!) and I'm teaching myself the bagpipes! I'm a free-market, Jeffersonian liberal who needs a lot of convincing about metro-wide, unelected, extra-governmental bodies. And I'm the most civil person you'll ever meet. Good luck!
