    IMNSHO, Read Me First is a lot more user-friendly. I have them both, but the MMoS is a lot more "to the point," without the explanation that RMF provides.


What I forgot to include in my original email is that we've also run across several instances where the MMoS contradicts itself.  Wish I could remember what they are, but it was about two years ago when we were working on our own internal style guide.  If I remember what they were or find my notes on them, I'll post them up.

As to style guides -- we set a published guide (MMoS) as the basis, and then created a smallish style guide that handled issues that were either not covered in MMoS or which we chose a different standard than what MMoS dictated.
