Having been "off" mailing lists for a couple of years, I joined here on
starting a new job (and yeah, I re-joined that other list too). It's taken
me a couple of weeks but yesterday took the biscuit.
I am a technical writer. I know, some, grammar. I am still learning (aren't
we all) but frankly I could lose less sleep than worry about what pedantic
pronouns are and how I mustn't ever use them or I'm a bad bad writer.
Pedantic, deictic, whatever!
Poor Lauren though, does she warrant an invite to here?? ;-)
In future I'll be aiming questions HERE, where everyone seems so much nicer,
and slightly MORE based in the real world. (I said "slightly").
