NOTE: If you've not done this before, save a backup of the file you intend to play with.
Actuellement, Sean's first suggestion was to save the file as MIF and ONLY then open the file in notpad. After you make your edits, save the MIF as a text file with the MIF extension and close the file. Then, open the MIF file in FrameMaker (as you would a binary FM file) then save the file as FM again.
