I'll chime in here. I have had a lot of fun with PowerPoint, and I love using it when I have reason to.
Recommendations (depending on your situation and reason for using it): * Make liberal and creative use of transitions. With a little bit of planning and judicious use of copied slides, you can use animated transitions to do some very nifty things. * Don't be afraid to spice things up with graphics and audio clips. They can really liven up a presentation. * Take the time to customize things to your liking. As with most other powerful and flexible tools, if you want to get something worthwhile out of it, you have to invest and put something into it. I have presented at a number of national and international conferences, and my audiences tend to like them simply because I try to liven them up with these kinds of things. I have been through my share of text-only info presentations, and I know how deadly boring they can be. With a little extra time and creativity, you can have fun--and your audiences will, too. HTH, but if you want me, go ahead and egg me on. Go ahead-I dare you! ;o) Chuck Beck Sr. Technical Writer | Infor | Office: 614.523.7302 | [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Brierley, Sean Sent: Thursday, March 15, 2007 1:55 PM To: TCP List Subject: [TCP] Care to share a PowerPoint tip?
