Hey folks, I was wondering if anyone knows of a good open source tool that a person could use to track review feedback in a collaborative sort of way? Say, you'd create a review and attach a document (maybe in PDF, but maybe not -- it could even be hard copy) and have users log in to a tool that they could use to indicate what change they want (and maybe index it against the page number?). The idea is to allow reviewers to see all the other reviewers' comments to allow for collaboration, instead of having the writers have to track down all those loose ends that would so easily be put to rest with by the developers talking (or commenting) directly to each other.
It would have to archive the data, hopefully allow people to accept or reject changes, and run a few helpful reports (how many comments did we get on X book, or how many reviews has John Doe participated in this year.. etc.) Some required configuration/coding is okay. It must run on an internal server behind the firewall. Thanks! -Katie ______________________________________________ Author Help files and create printed documentation with Doc-To-Help.
