I do roman numerals and chapters numbered chapter-page (1-1, 1-2, ... 2-1, etc.). This is because we post PDFs of entire books and individual chapters, plus print and this way the page numbers are the same no matter where you get the PDF of the book/chapter from. Though I do like the idea of the page numbers matching the page number of the PDF.
