Well, except if you're being all anal and grammar-proper and all 
that, then it *is* diacritical mark or diacritic. Diacritic mark is 
grammatically incorrect. 

Accent or accent mark works for me. Depending upon the audience, 
diacritical mark might cause the reader to pause.
