Aha! Using Notepad, I found that it's a Microsoft Publisher 3.0 file. Not that this does me any good because I don't have that program either and Frame doesn't have a filter for it, but at least I know. ;-)
My coworker was able to open the file in Ventura, so at least we were able to print it to see what it looked like. It gave him errors when he tried to save it into Word, so we decided to just leave well enough alone. Next time, I'll specify what programs I can work with. I'm doing this for free, so they need to help me at least a little! But, weird, why is it now a pub? Maybe it's a Microsoft Publisher file? FrameMaker won't open that. Again, open it in notepad and look.
