The only API documentation I know if is in the libpcap man page. The
libpcap source includes the man page - it's "pcap.3".
If libpcap is installed on your system, try using "man pcap".
(If you're using Windows, you're using WinPcap; the WinPcap man page is
online at
http://netgroup-serv.polito.it/winpcap/docs/pcapman.htm
Note that WinPcap adds some additional functions that aren't in the
libpcap on UNIX systems.)
