No, MSVC project support is fully supported with CMake. The generated project are native and you can use the integrated debugger out of the box. Things are different with Scons as the generated project are not native. I guess Wireshark main problem is that GTK has not been fully ported to MSVC and they are forced to use a mix between Makefile and CMake; just a guess. >>> Anyways, I'll try to get you a flow chart for the wizard and a >>> suggestion for how to organize the features for a tabbed interface. >>> >>> >> Got it, I'll probably have questions once I start looking into it (not >> in the coming week or two). >> > > No worries. Maybe it didn't show up previously but, just to warn you, I am new to network programming and to network in general so I should have said "I'll for sure have questions". > Anyways, I'll probably ping you in a couple of weeks to see how things > are going.
