It is generally true in wars of the organic against the mechanical that the organic wins. They win because they exploit the core weakness(s) of the mechanical ... bureaucratic society. They stay the course... refuse to adapt. We did it to the British ..... they wore bright colors....marched in line..... had a highly centralized chain of command..... the whole 9 yards...
One of the weakness of our society is the core belief in punishment..... we have high levels of incarceration..... so our enemies will recruit future terrorists from among the huge prison population What are we going to do punish them?
