If you get enough drivers to load for the hard drive, you can continue the install but that will cause some work arounds later. If you get the hard drive and the nic, you'd be in good shape. Once netware is up, the CD should start working and you can do HDETECT or maybe it was HWDETECT. Best bet is to get the CD drive working in DOS.
