Reading through the proposed budget and I am noticing a lot of programs that state pays for but doesn't need to. Most of the cuts they did make don't make any sense, and they stuff they kept only makes the problem worse.
It doesn't matter what side you are on in the debate it just seems more and more that the people we have in office don't want to do anything but stay in office. Because of this anyone that gets to the state level or higher is corrupt in some way due to the nature of the system that put them there. Most aren't corrupted badly, but there are those that wield a lot of power and influence that have been a major driving force in this no existent budget resolution. The problem is that we can't get rid of them and if we do then what? Anyone in office is only going to do what gets them reelected and that can't be when you have to make the hard decision. It's time for them to start doing what's right and not what is easy. JL On Aug 6, 2010, at 3:01 PM, Jim Flanagan wrote: > Sorry Guys, > > I love you all.
