We're seeing it on the bill, says Frontier. This is what prompted her question.

We use Verizon for both lines out of the building and cellular.

My understanding it it's wireline operations in general. ICN's contacts for example have switched their moniker from Verizon to Frontier.
Maybe it's not official for you though until you see it on the bill.

Are you talking about land lines or cellular?

Only my home Verizon phone was sold to Frontier (and that has been
    a mess!)

This was just brought up to me by my accountant.

We've had to do SPIN changes when we changed vendors connected to
    ERATE.

But in this case, Verizon has been sold to Frontier. I applied
and got for 2010-2011 the Verizon vendor.

Will I need to be changing this? Is there a USAC system in place
    for these kind of situations?
