My landline changed, but not my cell.

Never was contacted about the changes until last month. I actually found out
about the switch in late May because I had my home and cell on the same bill
for years (and autopay) and got a notice that I was past due on the landline.
When they began switch over they separated all the combined bills and only
autopaid the Verizon portion (I am sure that was some legal thing). However,
they neglected to contact me and let me know that they were suspending the
autopay or separating the bills. ANNOYING!

According to Stephanie Coy-Lykes, e-rate contact at Frontier
([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>)
"The SPIN number will stay the same. They have been transitioned to Frontier."
at least for us.

My funding committment letter came out in July, so I got the introductory email
from Frontier rather than Verizon for our phone and T-1s, so I inquired because
I had exactly the same question.

We're seeing it on the bill, says Frontier. This is what prompted her question.

We use Verizon for both lines out of the building and cellular.

My understanding it it's wireline operations in general. ICN's contacts for
example have switched their moniker from Verizon to Frontier.

Maybe it's not official for you though until you see it on the bill.

Are you talking about land lines or cellular?

Only my home Verizon phone was sold to Frontier (and that has been a mess!)

Subject: [tech-geeks] ERATE, changes to Verizon

This was just brought up to me by my accountant.

We've had to do SPIN changes when we changed vendors connected to ERATE.

But in this case, Verizon has been sold to Frontier. I applied and got for
2010-2011 the Verizon vendor.

Will I need to be changing this? Is there a USAC system in place for these kind
of situations?
