Joel,

I basically just leave it and use the option to Wipe Out last year's
student work so teachers can continue using the same setup for this
year.

I do make a complete site backup first and then clear out all
discussions, quiz attempts, student files submitted -- it is a menu
choice that teachers can actually do themselves for their classes.

Subject: [tech-geeks] Moodle Rollover / Renew / Reset

Has anyone been using Moodle for more than one school year?

I'm interested in how you do rollovers from one school year to the
next: courses, quizzes, and the like.

Our hosted Moodle presents certain problems. I have to Backup/Restore
each course for each teacher each year.

In addition, I found out that the HTML Widget boxes which I created
don't get backed up and restored. I have to re-do those each year, too
. . . if I can remember them.
