Dana,

That happens when I remote into my servers also. My monitor at home is
bigger and higher resolution than the CRT connected to the server so you
must be on the right track. I've also noticed that when I web ex my Windows
7 machine with STI, that they have issues because of me having 20" monitors.
I don't know if the dual monitors messes with them or not.

Subject: [tech-geeks] Windows 7 Remote Desktop Question

I remote into my work computer every day. When I return to my work computer
my Icons on the Desktop are always scattered all over the place. I thought
my remote connection was connecting at a lower resolution and moving the
Icons around to fit on the screen but don't know for sure. It's like I have
a scavenger hunt every day before my first class. My question is, "How can I
keep my Icons in one place?"
